Description

Asclepias fascicularis also known as Mexican Whorled or Narrow-leafed milkweed is a Western native perennial milkweed. Light whitish-pink blooms adorn the tops of stems that can grow 2.5′-3′ tall. Does well in full sun or partial shade. Prefers to have moist soil but can tolerate some periods of drought. Spreads quickly through shallow rhizomes and self seeds. Will flower it’s second year. Pods are thin and up to 4″ long.
